Look up one or two of your favorite constellations and the
story behind them. Once it gets dark see if you can find the constellation and
share the story behind it with your spouse. If you can go further out of the
city it will be easier to see, but if not see if you can see them anyways. Swap
stories behind your constellation and invent new stories behind the
constellations. This is a great opportunity to look at the stars as well as to
share a laugh and make a connection.
Relationship Reconnection: This gives you an opportunity to
reconnect by getting away from the distractions of life and share stories. It
can also be an opportunity to share in a laugh as you make up your own stories
about the constellations. Sometimes in life we get so caught up in the problems
that we forget to laugh. This activity gives you time to laugh together which
is a great way to reconnect.
