One of the best dates my husband and I had
was for our anniversary one year. It was
in the fall and the leaves were turning on the trees. We picked a secluded spot along the river and
had a picnic.
So for this date, whether it be your anniversary or just a day when you need some down time, pack some yummy foods in a picnic basket, and head to your favorite spot. Take a big blanket, and perhaps a pillow for a little “pillow talk” after your meal. Now don’t limit yourself to just a picnic dinner. Try a picnic breakfast, or a lunch escape. If you aren’t sure where to go here are some spots in the Houston area.

Your Relationship Reconnection Tip:
After you have eaten, lie on the blanket for some pillow
talk. Look up into the sky. Are there clouds? What shapes do you find in the clouds? Make up a story about the clouds. Be sure to make it a funny story so you laugh
a little. Or make it a progressive story
taking turns writing the next page. If
there are no clouds then try picking a topic and write a story about it. Remember to snuggle while you are talking!
