Rain or shine, day or night, winter, spring, summer or
fall, Terry Hershey Park is open and waiting for you. This park has an up-to-date
Facebook page explaining current weather conditions and how they relate to the
walking, hiking, and biking trails.
The park does have hours of operation [7am - 10pm].
It’s a great date idea for the couple without the gym membership. Whether it be
a hike with your hottie before work or after, there’s always time to catch up
on the events of the day while enjoying mother nature.
The entire hiking
trail is a little over 2.5 miles. For every half-mile you and your hottie walk/hike
be sure to share your appreciation for a way they go the “extra-mile” for you. While
expressing your appreciation, at each half-mile mark you’ll also want to think
of one thing you can do this week that will push you the “extra mile” for your
partner. This is a great way to extend the date and possible form new habits.
