There is nothing like getting out of the city for
some peace and quiet. Grab your tent and
sleeping bags and take a short drive to Lake Houston Wilderness Park. Lake Houston Wilderness Park is about a 45 minute drive from downtown Houston. The park sits on 4,786 beautifully wooded acres with a nature center, cabins, and tent sites.

Whether you decide to roast hot dogs over an open
fire or get a little more adventurous with your favorite Dutch oven dish don’t
forget about bringing stuff for s’mores! Roast each other’s marshmallows.
Find out what kind of marshmallow your spouse likes- burned or a little
brown- and make it perfect for him/her.
After dinner you can star gaze and find how many

to just talk.
