While you take turns swinging, consider some of your family's rituals and traditions or some you would like to start. Just like there's many different techniques to consider when golfing, there's various traditions and rituals a family can use to "improve performance." For instance, do you eat Saturday breakfast together, go to church, go to bed at the same time, have movie and pizza night on Friday, read the newspaper together, take a car ride each week, do chores together, talk about the highs and lows of your day, etc. Maybe some of your rituals, like watching TV for hours every night after work, make you feel like your family is just "putt"ing along. Finding good rituals and traditions can really bring a sense of togetherness in your family. Consider which rituals you want to keep or stop doing and new ones you want to start.
