While waiting for your food, practice accepting influence from your partner as you play John Gottman’s Island Survival Game.
How to play: Imagine your cruise ship sank and you find yourselves stranded on a tropical island. The two of you are the only survivors. You look around the beach and see a lot of stuff from the ship but you can only carry 10 items to help you survive on the island until a rescue party finds you (hopefully). Each of you write down on a separate piece of paper what 10 items you would take with you. Then, rank order these items with 1 being the most important and so on.
