On a tight budget?
Think you cannot afford a date and a sitter? Think again!
After you put the kiddos to bed you and your spouse can make pizza
together (or another dinner choice). As
you are making pizza ask each other where he/she had the best pizza and if
he/she could have the perfect pizza in the world what would it be like?
If you decide you have a bit of a budget for pizza
delivery try Frank's Pizza, at 417 Travis St.
While the pizza is cooking get some pillows and
blankets and arrange them on the floor.
Turn on some soft romantic music and add some candles. When the pizza is done sit on the floor and
take turns eating pizza and talking. As
your spouse is talking, take note of what he/she is saying and really listen to
them. Do they sound sad, happy, angry,
or frustrated? Do you know why? When they are finished talking repeat back to
them what they were saying in different ways and ask them why they sounded happy
etc… It is important to really listen to
your spouse when they are talking instead of thinking about what you are going
to say next. Pay attention to this and
try to focus on what your spouse is saying.
